The 2024 NH Camp Staff - We would like to offer a huge thanks to each and everyone of these individuals for volunteering their time to be here with us over the past three days! This trip would not be possible without these people!

GOOD MORNING and Happy Wednesday from Happy Hollow! The campers have had breakfast, pictures and are currently packing luggage and cleaning cabins! We had hard rain overnight but it is a rain free morning right now!

Camp Idol - Q & A - Between Camp Idol contestants Mr. Walker and other staff would ask questions about their stations and if the camper was able to answer correctly they would get some candy.
The NHMS 20th Annual Camp Idol took place tonight. Mr. Walker was the MC and Mr. Zink was on the DJ. The contestants that performed are:
Chelsea and Aaliyah singing "Satisfied"
Finn singing "I Want it That Way"
Alex singing "When it Rains it Pours"
Gatlin singing "Thunder"
Hayden singing "Peter Pan"
Tegan and Aubrey singing "Wildest Dreams"

Tuesday Canoeing: The storms stayed away but the rain did not, so the campers got to canoe in the rain!
Campers learn that objects in motion have kinetic energy and objects at rest have potential energy. They test this theory by rolling marbles down and incline and collect the necessary data to prove it.
Hamburgers and French Fries were on the lunch menu today!
All About Air - Campers learn about the properties of air and that it occupies space, has weight, and exerts pressure. They also learned what instrument can measure air pressure and how clouds form.
Bubble-ology - Campers learn about surface tension and the molecular attraction of water.
Owl Pellets - Campers dissect owl pellets to determine what the owl has recently eaten. They match the bones to those listed on a chart in their camp booklet to see what the owl enjoyed eating the most.
Good morning from Happy Hollow! The campers just finished breakfast - waffles, sausage, blueberries and cereal. They are headed to the first stations of the day.
Evening snack - Smores and Homemade Ice Cream Sandwiches
