NHMS Student Council - Pie in the Face Fundraiser
Pie in the Face was one of this year's Student Council fundraisers for Eagle Court, which is a duplex community currently being built in Corydon that will house homeless or at-risk veterans. We raised over $250 as a building with the sixth graders raising $190 of that $250. Mr. Walker had the most money in his jar and was the lucky staff member winning the Pie in the Face!

Come get in the festive mood and watch some great holiday classics be performed by our middle school and high school choirs and bands!
🎅The Cougar Choirs will have desserts available for a donation.
🎅The Cougar Bands will have donations accepted at the door, and will be selling poinsettias and specialty Buff City Soap bars and bath bombs.

This is a reminder that Thanksgiving Break begins on Wednesday, November 27th. School will resume on Monday, December 2nd. Enjoy the holiday with your family and friends.
6th grade students in the Agriculture rotation learned about soil conservation, soil texture and soil layers. Students created a diorama of soil layers to wrap up the unit.

Day 2 of NHMS canned food drive inched us a little bit closer to our goal with 125 cans brought in to donate! Keep those cans coming, Cougars, we CAN do this🥫💙🐾

NHMS Honor Society students paraded through lunch periods this week to promote our upcoming canned food drive and get everyone as excited as they are to reach our 4000-can goal 🥫🤩💙🐾

Rachel Shepard and the NHMS Cafeteria staff provided the NHMS Staff with an amazing full spread of Thanksgiving food for lunch today. We are so thankful for all of their hard work in putting this together and to Mrs. Ellett for taking care of the meals for everyone. The food was delicious! (Unfortunately, there are no pics of the food because everyone was too busy eating.)

Mr. Rawert's 6th Science Classes have been learning about Moon Phases. They demonstrated their knowledge by doing a tasty science activity called Oreo Cookie Moon Phases. Students had to seperate the cookie and create the moon phases out of the frosting,
