The Middle School Essential Skills class took a Play Day trip to Holiday World. A lot of rides were rode, and fun was had by all. Mega shout out to our parents who chaperoned and made this trip possible! (Post1)

Mr. Schmidt is in the middle of the pack as he has been the organizer for this trip since 1997. Prior to that he organized the trip that went to Otter Creek. He is the force behind this trip being so successful. Thank you Mr. Schmidt!

Camp Idol - Q & A - Between Camp Idol contestants Mr. Walker and other staff would ask questions about their stations and if the camper was able to answer correctly they would get some candy.
The NHMS 20th Annual Camp Idol took place tonight. Mr. Walker was the MC and Mr. Zink was on the DJ. The contestants that performed are:

Tuesday Canoeing: The storms stayed away but the rain did not, so the campers got to canoe in the rain!
Campers learn that objects in motion have kinetic energy and objects at rest have potential energy. They test this theory by rolling marbles down and incline and collect the necessary data to prove it.
Hamburgers and French Fries were on the lunch menu today!
All About Air - Campers learn about the properties of air and that it occupies space, has weight, and exerts pressure. They also learned what instrument can measure air pressure and how clouds form.
