The Zap Line! Campers that wanted to zap line across a gully were able to. Once they had their harness and helmet on they were ready to fly!

After the campfire skits, the campers got to make S'mores and/or get homemade ice cream sandwiches before showering and going to the cabins.
Campfire 🔥! Mr. Schmidt tossed a piece of wood he collected from last years campfire. He tells the campers that they are now bound together with all other groups that have come to Happy Hollow! Chris Chappell, Happy Hollow's Camp Director, did some fun skits and songs with the campers!
Our first dinner in the dining hall this evening was chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, hot rolls, and salad!
One of our new stations this year is Archery. Huge thanks to Mrs. Ashley First for bringing archery gear and running the station!
The campers were allowed to touch a Bull Snake that Jim was holding after the presentation was over.

Jim Lynch from the Department of Natural Resources gave a presentation on snakes found in Indiana. He showed the campers a Copperhead, Black King Snake, Prairie King Snake, Eastern Milk Snake, Red Milk Snake, Blue Racer, Fox Snake, Bull Snake, Black Rat Snake, Brown Snake, and a Worm Snake. We would like to thank him for being a part of our camp experience!
The obstacle course is always a favorite! They campers have to work together to try to finish each obstacle as quick as possible. They also find the Mean and Median of group times!

The first group of campers to fish this afternoon caught 41 fish-all bluegill. It was so exciting to see some of them catch their first fish ever!
