Today’s Menu:   Choice of Crispito with Cheese Stick, Chicken Patty, Corn, Lima Beans or any cold sides.

Congratulations to the Middle School FFA Junior Team for placing 3rd in state at the Horticulture CDE at Purdue University! The team consisted of Fletcher Abner, Chloe Bary and Adaline Felton. Also, congratulations to Fletcher for placing 5th individual out of 49 students!

All Journalism Club Members should meet in Mr. Blevins room during advisory after attendance has been taken.

The marching band traveled to Floyd Central on Saturday and had a great performance. They took 2nd place in their class and also got Best Drum Majors for the second week in a row! Great job, Cougar Band!

Any 7th or 8th Grade student who would like to form a Walk A Thon Tug of War team, should contact Mr. Murphy to register your team . There has to be 5 boys and 5 girls from the same grade to form a team.

Any 6th, 7th, or 8th grade boy wanting to try out for the basketball team can sign up in the front office. Tryouts will be Tuesday and Wednesday Oct. 15 and 16, with the time to be announced later. You must have a current physical on file to try out. Physical Forms are available in the front office. Please do so during advisory class only.


Sept 22-26 is College Go Week.  It is never too early to plan for your future.

So plan for This Week-

College go week tip of the day: Did you know that College graduates earn on average, about $20,000 more a year than people who don’t go to school after high school. That means that going to college could earn you almost one million more dollars in your life than if you don’t go!

Be off to a great start and show your North Harrison spirit! Wear your North Harrison gear or blue & amp; white

Tuesday  is Military Day, wear camo or your favorite branch of the military shirt

Wednesday is Superhero Day, make your future super, wear a superhero shirt

Thursday is Team Up for college, wear your favorite college shirt.


6th, 7th and 8th Grade Girls Basketball sign ups are available in the office. Please come during advisory only to sign up.

Students, please remember to get your Walk-a-Thon money and permission slips turned in.  The Dates have been changed -so listen up !!

 Money and permission slips are due by Wednesday, October 2nd  and the Walk-a-Thon is Friday, October 4th This is a day for students to get out of the classroom and enjoy walking, talking, and just hanging out with friends. Students that participate will get a snack and water provided, as well as entered into a drawing for prizes. We have five $25 Amazon gift cards, two Echo Dot speakers, and an HP 14 inch laptop. 

Also, students can not participate in the Tug of War games or watch the Tug of War games if they have not turned in money or permission slips.

You don't want to miss out! So, get your money and permission slips turned in!

Cougars, get in the game!! That is a Random Acts of Kindness Bingo game, to be exact!! The game is on the Cougar Pride board outside of the cafeteria and is ready for play!  You've got the month of September to get as many Bingo's as you can!


If you have a birthday in September, please come to the office to pick up your birthday pencil.
