Members of the North Cougar Running Club gave a solid performance at the Foot Locker Midwest Regional Cross Country Meet held this past Saturday in Racine, Wisconsin. The competitive field in the seeded race had 227 athletes comprised of the top runners from Wisconsin, Colorado, Illiniois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Ohio, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North and South Dakota. Runners from these surrounding 13 states competed in this qualifier race hoping to be one of the top 10 individuals to finish and advance to the Foot Locker National Championship held on December 10^th in San Diego, California. Johnnie Guy finished in 28^th place overall with a time of 15:43. Johnnie was the 6^th Indiana runner to cross the finish line. Jonathan Reynolds finished in 82^nd place overall with a time of 16:11 and Josh Guy finished in 115^th place with a time of 16:25.  The Junior-Senior open race had 206 runners in it where Kyle Chesser finished in 22^nd place with a time of 16:59 and Jason Head finished in 25^th place with a time of 17:00.
